Girls track with good showing at regionals

Three  Clay Girls track athletes participated in the regional Tuesday night in Warsaw. Megan Copper ran in the 3200 meter run and finished 12th and  cut off 11 seconds off her sectional time as she ran the event in a  time of 12:15:31.  In the Shot put, Brianna Batteast finished 11th    with a throw

Girls track qualifies three runners for Regional

The Clay Girls Track team will have three representatives at the Regional Tuesday at Warsaw.  Megan Cooper will run in the 1600 meter run while  Brianna Batteeast . and Dana Taborn will participate  in the Shot Put. Congratulations and best of Luck to Megan, Brianna and Dana in the regional Tuesday  

Gilrs Track season ends at Sectional

The Girls Track Team saw their season come to an end Tuesday night as they finished 10th at  the sectional with 22 points. Many good performances were put in by the team.  Attached are the complete results.  Congratulations to the track team on a positive year. 19 penn girls t & f sectional results

Track results from city meet

The Girls and Boys Track team both competed in the City meet at St. Joe on Thursday. The Girls finished 5th with 51 points. Highlights  included Megan Cooper becoming the City Champ in the 3200 meter run in a time of 12:27:19. She also finished 3rd in the 1600 meter run.  Also with good showings

Girls Track runs in the Princess Relays.

The Girls Track team ran in the annual Princess Relays on Friday night. The team placed 15th with a team score of nine points.  This is an improvement  from last years 4 points.  Brianna Batteast and Dana Taborn finished 6th in the shot put relay and 8th in the discus relay picking up 4 points. 

Boys and Girls Track lose senior night meets

On a night of Celebration  for the Seniors, The Boys and Girls track teams both fell to Marian. In the Boys meet, Marian won 94 to 26.  Highlights for the Colonials included Jamon Miller finishing 2nd in the 100 meter dash in a time of 11:36. Miller also finished 2nd in the 200 wiht a

Girls and Boys Track Versus Jimtown and Trinity

The Boys and Girls Track team opened their home season with meets against Jimtown and Trinity on Tuesday night. In the Girls meet the Colonials defeated Jimtown and Trinity.  Clay scored 61 followed by Jimtown at 51 and Trinity at 50.  In the Boys Meet Jimtown ran it away with the meet by scoring 94

Girls Track also drops NIC opener

The Girls Track team also lost the NIC opener on Tuesday to Mishawaka and Penn. Mishawaka won the meet with 89 points followed by Penn with 70 and Clay 5 . Highlights for the Colonials were Lavonne Winphire and Jenesis Jones who finished 5th and 6th respectfully in the 100 meter dash. JaLila  Newbill finished
