Clay Wrestling Triple Dual now scheduled

Wrestling finishes 3rd at West Central Duals

The Wrestling team finished 3rd at Saturday’s  West Central’s Triple Duals. In Round 1 Clay lost to West Central 43-24.  In Round two, the Colonials lost to Hebron 57-24 and in the final round the  Colonials beat South Newton 48-6.  The Colonials had two undefeated wrestlers in Maxx Szucs at 120 pounds and Ethan Bendit

Wrestling Drops First Match Of Year

The Wrestling team dropped their first match of the year Wednesday with a 60-24 loss to John Glenn. Winners for Clay include  Maxx Szucs at 126 pounds,  Jeremiah Annis at 195 pounds, McKenzie Dawning at 220 pounds and Ethan Bendit at 285 pounds.  The team back in action Saturday at the West Central Super Dual.  Here are tonight’s match

Wrestling stays unbeaten

The Wrestling team moved to 5-0 Wednesday night with a 30-24 victory over St. Joe. Wrestling opens season by Winning the Clay Super Dual

The Wrestling team opened their season by winning the Clay Super Dual on Saturday.  The Colonials went 4-0 in defeating Adams 36-24, Westview 30-18, St. Joe 30-24 and Washington 42-0. Individual champions for Clay were Maxx Szucs at 120 pounds, Alijah Rainey at 152 pounds, Jeremiah Annis at 195 and Mackenzie Dawning at 220 pounds. The Colonials

Winter Sports Attendance Protocols

The South Bend Community School Corporation  has announced attendance protocols for the  20-21 winter sports season. Clay Winter Sports Awards

The Annual Clay Winter Sports Awards will be held on Wednesday March 18th starting at 6 pm in the Clay High School Cafeteria. The dinner will start at 6pm with team awards to follow .  Come and support all of the winter sports athletes.

Wrestling Season ends at Regional

The Boys Wrestling Season came to an end Saturday at the Individual  Regional at Penn.  All four qualifiers lost in their opening round matches.
