JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Schedule update

Clay has scheduled a boys basketball game with Morgan Township on December 19th at Morgan Township with a 6:00 EST JV start and a 7:30 EST Varsity game. This game was scheduled to make up for a game missed earlier in the season.

Boys Basketball loses overtime thriller to Washington

The Boys Basketball team finally opened their 20-21 season Thursday night with a trip to South Bend’s Westside to face the Washington Panthers.  At the end of the night, the Colonials dropped a 71-65 overtime game to the Panthers. Boys Basketball Schedule update

The Boys basketball game vs. Glenn has been rescheduled to Jan 5th at Glenn with a 6:00 JV start and Varsity to follow at approximately  7:30. Also The boys basketball game originally scheduled for 12/4/20 at Clay vs Penn has been rescheduled for 2/2/21. JV starting at 6:00 and Varsity to follow at approximately 7:30.

Boys Basketball Postponments

Due to Covid Concerns the  Clay High Boys Basketball team will not be back until December 2nd which will force the cancellation of games against John Glenn on Dec 1st and Penn on Dec 4th. We will look to reschedule these games as soon as possible.  Stay Tuned for further updates on this page and social media.

Boys Baskeball wraps up regular season

The Boys Basketball team wrapped up the regular season Friday night at home against Valparaiso. The team played hard but dropped a 68-54 decision to the Vikings. The Colonials were led by Robert Allen with 14 points and Anthony Neal with 10.  The JV also lost 72-54 to the Vikings.  The Colonials open sectional play

Boys Basketball loses to Elkhart Memorial

Despite 15 points form Robert Allen and 13 from Anthony Neal The Boys Basketball lost Elkhart Memorial Saturday night 70-46. The JV was also defeated 58-46.  Ameer Harris led the Colonials wiht 17 points. The Colonials finish regular season play on Friday at home against Valpo.

Boys Basketball loses tough game in Baugo Township

The Boys Basketball team finished off NIC play Friday night with a tough 52-42 loss to Jimtown. The Colonials were led in scoring by Verrontae Johnson ith 12 points,  Robert Allen with 11 points and Anthony Neal with 10. The JV team beat Jimtown in overtime 41-40.  JaCarre Sterling led the Colonials with 15 points.

The Boys Basketball teams saw their two game winning streak come to an end Friday night with a 65-41 loss to Marian on Senior Night. The Boys Basketball team won their 2nd game in a row and 2nd  straight conference game as they beat Elkhart Central 67-36 at Northside Gym. The Colonials had 5 players in double figures. Verrontae Johnson and Anthony Neal each had 13 while Josh Black had 12 and Robert Allen  and Jahawn Horton each contributed  10.
