Baseball goes 2-1 on Saturday

On a chilly, cloudy Saturday, The Baseball team went 2-1 with wins over Bowman Academy and a loss to Glenn. In game one, The Colonials hammered Bowman 15-2.  In the game, Max Szucs picked up the win on the mound while the Colonials bats were  on fire as they banged out 9 hits with Benny

The Baseball team dropped its 3rd straight game on Wednesday night  with an 8-0 loss to Mkishawaka. The Colonial bats were limited to 3 hits as Hunter Aker, Mark Williams and Benny Cardenas all singled for Clay.Hunter Aker took the loss on the Mound.  The Colonials are now 8-8 on the year and 1-8 in

Baseball struggles with New Prairie

In a a game switched to Clay Field, the baseball team was beaten by New Prairie 13-1. The Colonials had 4 hits as Hunter Aker, Diego Cardenas, Austin Love and Elijah Downs each had singles. Benny Cardenas and Austin Love combined on the loss.  The Colonials are now 8-7 overall and 1-7 in the NIC.

Baseball team has bats shutdown Monday

The IHSAA conducted their annual baseball tourney draw Sunday night.  The Colonials draw rival Adams in the opening round at Plymouth.  A win by The Colonials would put them in the semi-finals against  Michigan City or Mishawaka. The entire bracket is below.    

Baseball wins 2nd straight

The Baseball Team picked up their 2nd straight win with a 17-7  five inning win over Benton Harbor. The Colonials banged out 8 hits in the game including doubles from Mark Williams and  Austin Love. Benny Cardenas and Hunter Aker added triples for Clay. Diego Cardenas picked up the win on the mound going 2/3’s

Baseball time change for Saturday

The double header against Benton Harbor has been moved up an hour to try and beat the weather. The start time will now be 12:00 EST on 4/27 at Clay Field.
