Girls Swimming drops meet to Riley

The Girls Swim Team swam hard but dropped a 109-60 decision to Riley Thursday night.  Individually for Clay, the 200 yard medley Realy finished 2nd,   Liz Farrough 3rd in the 200 yard free, Ciara Humeston 4th in the 200 yard IM, Emma and Elie Belke 3rd and 4th respectfully in the 50 free, Emma

Girls Swimming also goes 2 and 1 in Elkhart

The Girls Swim team also went 2 and 1 on Monday night in Elkhart. The Colonials beat Washington 135-20 And John Glenn 137-0.  The Lady Colonials  dropped a 117-63 decison to Elkhart Central.  The team back in the pool on Thursday at Riley.      

Girls Swimming drops tough one to Michigan City

In what was a competitive meet, the Girls Swim team lost a tough meet in the Pool to Michigan City 96-73.  There were  a lot of great swims including many 2nd place finishes.  Alexa Hunt did pick up a victory in 100 yard backstroke.  Attached are tonight’s  results.  Team back in action December 2nd when

Girls Swimming opens season with Victory

The Girls Swim team opened the 2019-20 season Thursday with a 107-69 NIC Conference Victory over Mishawaka. Winners for the Colonials were the 200 medley Realy consisting of Alexa Hunt, Ciara Humeston, Emma Belke and Ellie Belke, The 100 yard Freestyle who went 1st and 2nd with Karinne Cooper 1st and Heidi Hodges 2nd,  and

Three more Colonials sign to play college sports

Three more Clay Athletes have signed their letters of intent to play sports in college.    Jonathan White and Nate Sanders will play their College Basketball at Muskegon Community College and Mamie Hodges for Swimming at Manchester.  White was a 4 year member of the Clay basketball program and was a varsity member for 2 years.

Girls Swimming finishes 5th at swim sectional

The Girls swim scored 161 points which was goo enough for 5th at the Sectional over the weekend. After the meet, Clay’s Darcia King-O’Blenis was announced as sectional coach of the year in a vote conducted among peers. Girls Swimming sectional rescheduled

Due to the anticipated  cold weather,  The Girls Swim Sectional prelims scheduled for Thursday are now scheduled for Friday.  Events will get underway at 5:30 pm

Girls Swimming finishes 8th at NIC meet

The Girls swim team finished 8th  the NIC swim meet  on Saturday.   The Colonials scored 103 points. Attached is the results form todays meet. Congrats to the girls swim team on a strong showing at NIC. nic girls swimming complete results

Boys and Girls Swiming lose to New Prairie

It was another strong night in the pool for the Colonials Swim teams, but they came up short Tuesday night versus New Prairie. The Girls dropped a 103-81 decision to the Cougars while the boys were beaten 139-32. Winners on the Girls side were  Meg Yerrington in the 200 yard free and 100 yard backstroke,

Boys and Girls Swimming drops meets to Penn

Despite good swims and effort, the Boys and Girls Swim teams lost their meets to Penn Thursday night. The Boys lost 147-29 and the Girls 138-45.  Winners for Clay included Ellie Belke in the 200 yard Freestyle and 100 yard Breaststroke. tonight’s results are attached. Clay versus Penn Swimming
