IHSAA release new Basketball Classifications

Girls Basketball season ends at Sectional

Alayja Dillard scored 6 points, Nataya Hicks 5 ad Regan Ward 3 as the Gils Basketball team dropped their section open to number 2 Penn 88 to 15.  The Colonials finish the year 6-17. Congratulations to Coach Pittman and the team on drastic improvement on the season.

Girls Basketball Sectional change

Girls Basketball wins regular season finale

Tonia Horston Smith scored 22 points and Alayja Dillard 20 as the Girls Basketball team closes out the regular season with a 70-62 victory over Rival Riley.  The Lady Colonials finish the regular season at 6-16 overall and 2-10 in the NIC.   They open sectional play Wednesday when they play Penn in the Mishawaka Sectional.

Girls Basketbal Sectional Draw

The IHSAA conducted their annual Pairings draw on Sunday.  In Sectional 3 at  Mishawaka, The Lady Colonials draw Penn on Wedensday January 30th. The Bracket is below.

Girls Basketball drops conference game at the Cave

Alayja Dillard scored 14 points while Nataya Hicks had 8 and Tonia Horston Smith added 7 but  the Lady Colonials fell to Mishawaka Saturday 60-34.  The JV also lost 36-21.  The Lady Colonials drop 5-16 overall and 1-10 in the NIC.  The Colonials will finish off the regular season when they travel to Riley on

Girls Basketball wins senior night game

Alayja Dillard scored 15 points, Tonia Horston Smith 11 and Morgan Frasier 10 as the Girls Basketball team beat Career Academy 62-23.  The Lady Colonials are now 5-15 on the year and will travel to Mishawaka on Saturday.

Girls Basketball loses on road

Tonia Horston Smith had 8 points and Regan Ward had 6 points but the Lady Colonials fell to St. Joe 78-25 on Friday night.  The JV also lost 49-24.  The Colonials fall to 4-15 overall and 1-9 in the NIC. the team back in action next Thursday against Career Academy.

Girls Basketball loses close game to Elkhart Christian

Tonia Horston Smith scored 20 points while Morgan Frasier and Alayia Dillard scored 8 points apiece but wasn’t quite enough as they Lady Colonials dropped a 56-54 decision the Elkhart Christian. The Colonials drop to 4-14 on the season and will return to NIC action Friday night at St. Joe.

Girls Basketball to be part of Organ Donor Classic

The Girls Basketball team will be part of a special event on January  19th. The first Mishawaka Organ Donation Classic is set for Saturday, January 19 at the Cave. Four games are on tap, starting at 2 p.m. when the Mishawaka girls face the Lady Colonials. The event is sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance,
