Boys and Girls Basketball Site host announced

The IHSAA Board of Directors has announced the host sites for the State Basketball Tournaments this  year. The Clay Boys team will play in the Jimtown Sectional while the Girls Play in the John Glenn Sectional.   Click on the link below to see the whole list of tourney host.

Three more Colonials sign to play college sports

Three more Clay Athletes have signed their letters of intent to play sports in college.    Jonathan White and Nate Sanders will play their College Basketball at Muskegon Community College and Mamie Hodges for Swimming at Manchester.  White was a 4 year member of the Clay basketball program and was a varsity member for 2 years.

IHSAA release new Basketball Classifications

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has released its new Classifications for Basketball for the next two years.  The Colonials will drop from 4A to 3A.  The full release  is below.

Boys Basketball Season ends at Sectional

Robert Allen scored 16 points and Allen Prestley scored 11 but the Colonials saw their season end with a 67-49 loss to Adams in the semi-finals of  the Penn Sectional. The Colonials end the season at 4-18. Thanks to our seniors and to Coach Barnbrook for great leadership through out the season.

Boys Basketball loses regular season finale

Tomias Hunt scored 12 points and Robert Allen 10 but the Colonials fell to Valparaiso 81-35 Friday night. The JV also lost the Vikings 75-34. The Varsity finishes the regular season at 4-17 while the JV finishes 16-5.  The Colonials will open sectional play at Penn next Friday versus the winner of Tuesday’s game between

Boys Basketball Sectional Pairings

The IHSAA held their annual pairings show on Sunday. The Colonials will open sectional play on Friday in the bye game versus Adams-Mishawka winner. The Bracket is listed below:  

Boys Basketball drops game in Elkhart

The Boys Basketball team hit the road Saturday night and dropped a 75-48 decision to Elkhart Memorial at Northside Gym. The Colonials were led in scoring by  Robert Allen with 11 points. The JV was a winner 46-45 as Lemond Nance had 10 points.  The Colonials are now 4-16 on the year and wrap up

Boys Basketball drops Senior Night game to Jimmies

Four players scored in Double figures as Anthony Neal scored 15 points, Nate Sanders  14 points, Jaylen Harris 11 and Johnathon White 10 but the Colonials dropped a 57-55 game to Jimtown.  The JV was Victorious 74-42. The Varsity drops to 4-15 while the JV improves to 15-4. The team back in action Saturday as

Boys Basketball loses to Concord

Anthony Neal scored 19 points and Jaylen Harris 12 but the Colonials dropped a 72-51 decision to Concord on Wednesday night.  The Colonials are now 4-14 on the season. The JV moved to 14-4 with a 58-51 overtime win over the Minutemen.  The teams back in action Friday at home against Jimtown.

Boys Basketball Rescheduled

The Boys Basketball game  with Concord scheduled for tonight 2/12/19 has been postponed due to the weather. It wil now  be played tomorow Wednesday 2/13/19.
