Winter Sports Award Winners Announced

While schools continue to be closed due to the  Covid-19 Virus, The Clay Athletic Department and Clay Booster Club would like to share some good news.  They have announced the winners for the 2019-20 Winner Sports awards. The attached document list all of the winners in Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Swimming, Wrestling

Clay Winter Sports Awards

The Annual Clay Winter Sports Awards will be held on Wednesday March 18th starting at 6 pm in the Clay High School Cafeteria. The dinner will start at 6pm with team awards to follow .  Come and support all of the winter sports athletes.

All-NIC Boys Basketball team is announced

Boys Basketball season ends at Sectional

A slow start and some mistakes in the 2nd half cost the Boys Basketball team a shot at a sectional title after they were beaten by Jimtown 59-48 in the semi-finals Friday night. The Colonials were led by Robert Allen with 16 and Verrontae Johnson 13 points.   Thanks to Coach Barnbrook, the 6 seniors

Boys Baskeball wraps up regular season

The Boys Basketball team wrapped up the regular season Friday night at home against Valparaiso. The team played hard but dropped a 68-54 decision to the Vikings. The Colonials were led by Robert Allen with 14 points and Anthony Neal with 10.  The JV also lost 72-54 to the Vikings.  The Colonials open sectional play

Boys Basketball finds out path to State Finals

The IHSAA held its annual draw on Sunday for the upcoming State Tournament. The Colonials will open Sectional play  on Friday in the semi-finals as they face the winner of Glenn and Jimtown  in the Class 3A Sectional 19 at Jimtown.  This entire sectional will be broadcast on www.broadcastsport.net. Boys Basketball loses to Elkhart Memorial

Despite 15 points form Robert Allen and 13 from Anthony Neal The Boys Basketball lost Elkhart Memorial Saturday night 70-46. The JV was also defeated 58-46.  Ameer Harris led the Colonials wiht 17 points. The Colonials finish regular season play on Friday at home against Valpo.

Boys Basketball loses tough game in Baugo Township

The Boys Basketball team finished off NIC play Friday night with a tough 52-42 loss to Jimtown. The Colonials were led in scoring by Verrontae Johnson ith 12 points,  Robert Allen with 11 points and Anthony Neal with 10. The JV team beat Jimtown in overtime 41-40.  JaCarre Sterling led the Colonials with 15 points.
