Boys Basketball drops tight game to Blue Blazers

Robert Allen scored 15 points, Nate Sanders 12 and Allan Prestly 11 but the Colonials fell in NIC action Tuesday night 71-61.  The Colonials are now 4-2 overall and 3-7 in the NIC.  The JV was victorious 55-49 over the Blue Blazers.  The team back in action Friday at Marian.

Boys Freshman Basketball wins opening game of NIC Freshman tourney

The Freshman Boys Basketball team won the opening round of the Frosh Tourney at Adams by beating New Prairie 44-38.  The Colonials were led by James Johnson with 17 points.  The team is now 7-7 on the year and moved to the next round on Wednesday.

Girls Swimming finishes 5th at swim sectional

The Girls swim scored 161 points which was goo enough for 5th at the Sectional over the weekend. After the meet, Clay’s Darcia King-O’Blenis was announced as sectional coach of the year in a vote conducted among peers. Here is a list of the top finishers in the met.  Congrats to coach O’Blenis for her honor

Wrestling season ends at Regional

The Colonials finished their 2018-19 Campaign with Sophomore, Maxx Szucs, 120 lbs. and Junior, Miguel Penaloza, 145 lbs. both losing their 1st matches  to the eventual Wt. Class Champion @ 120 lbs. and Runner-Up @ 145 lbs. They’ll both be back next year to see if they can’t advance further and bring along the rest

Boys Basketball beats Bremen

Robert Allen scored 17 points and Jaylen Harris had 11 as the Boys Basektball team beat Bremen Saturday on the road 59-54.  The Colonials are  now 4-11 on the year and 3-6 in th NIC.   The JV was also victrious 48-38. The Colonials are back inaction Tuesday when they host Elkhart Central.

Girls Basketball season ends at Sectional

Alayja Dillard scored 6 points, Nataya Hicks 5 ad Regan Ward 3 as the Gils Basketball team dropped their section open to number 2 Penn 88 to 15.  The Colonials finish the year 6-17. Congratulations to Coach Pittman and the team on drastic improvement on the season.

Boys Basketball versus Bremen

Due to inclement weather, The Bremen Boys basketball game on Thursday has been moved to Saturday Feb 2nd 1:00 JV followed by 2:30 Varsity.
