Boys Basketball finds out tournament trail

The IHSAA conducted its annual Boys  Basketball Pairings show Sunday night.    The Colonials will face the Knights of Mishawaka Marian   in the opening round of the Washington  Sectional on Tuesday.  The entire Sectional will be broadcast live on  The entire Draw is below. GO COLONIALS!

Boys Swimming finishes 9th at Sectional

The Boys Swim team finished 9th at the Sectional at Penn. The Colonials scored 48 points . The 200 yard Medley relay consisting of Addison Nally, Noah Stone , Jordan Davis and Gabe Mota finished 9th with a time of 2:11 46 . Boys Basketball almost knocks off Cougars

It took an extra period, and the Colonials played hard but the Boys Basketball team  concluded the regular season with a tough 68-58 overtime loss to NewPrairie. Nick Wade led the Colonials with 15 points while James Johnson hit four 3 point baskets for 12 points and Christian Love added 12 points as well.  The

The Boys Swim team opened post season action with swimming in the Sectional Prelims at Penn High School.  The 200 yard medley relay and 200 yard freestyle realy advanced to the consolation finals on Saturday.  The diving takes place on Friday night.  The swimming finals start at 1 p.m. on Saturday.  Tonight’s  prelim results and

Cornell honored by SBCSC for being selected to Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team

At  Halftime of the Boys Basketball game Tuesday night against Concord, Former Clay Standout Jaraan Cornell was honored for being named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary team. Former Athletic Director Greg Humnicky who represented the Hall of Fame, Current Athletic Director Al Hartman and SBCSC Administrator  Howard Edwards made the presentation.

Boys Basketball versus Concord

Robert Allen scored 19 points, Christian Love 13 and Davyaun Franklin 12 but it wasn’t quite enough as the Colonials lost to Concord  59-48 Tuesday night at Colonial Gym .  The JV lost 52-30 to the Minutemen. Ameer Harris led Clay with 8 points .  Clay finishes off the regular season Friday at New Prairie.

Maxx Szucs Competes at Semi-State

He wrestled hard, but Maxx Szucs saw the wrestling season come to an end as he lost to Donovan Ruiz of Hobart in the 1st round of the Semi-State. Congratulations to Maxx on a great season and a great career.  You represented Clay with  great pride and class.  Congrats Maxx. 

Boys Hoops fights hard against Lions

Christian Love scored 25 points and Robert Allen 10 but its wasn’t quite enough as the Colonials dropped a 62-52  to  Elkhart at Colonial Gym Friday night. The JV also lost 49-45 to the Lions.  Clay back in action Tuesday as they will host Concord.  They finish the regular season next Friday at New Prairie.
