Girls Varsity Basketball · Clay has new Girls Basketball Coach

The South Bend School Board approved the hiring of CJ  Superczynski as the Colonials New Head Basketball Coach Monday night. CJ is a South Bend Community School Corporation graduate who was a standout athlete in both Basketball and Baseball for the Adams Eagles. CJ was a baseball Metro all-star his senior year and was selected as a 2 time All-Conference baseball player. He went on to play basketball and baseball at Goshen College and Holy Cross College. After College CJ had the opportunity to be an assistant coach at Penn under Hall of Fame coach Al Rhoades. He then spent a season as an assistant coach for Ryan Varga at Washington while completing the last 3 years as an assistant to Dawn Huff at Adams. CJ is excited to start a new chapter at Clay High and continue the building process that previous Colonial coach Shawn Pittman had started. CJ will enter this journey with his wife Meghan and 9 month old son Lincoln. The future of Clay Basketball is bright with hope.
