Colonials News · Hunter Aker to play College Baseball

Clay Baseball and football player Hunter Aker will continue his education and athletic career at Manchester University.  Aker will play baseball for the Spartans. Hunter is a three-year varsity letter winner for the Colonials starting at third base, shortstop, pitcher and catcher during his career. Hunter has been playing baseball since the age of 4. Hunter also lettered in Football this past fall for the Colonials as a tight end and quarterback. Hunter led the Colonials at quarterback in their lone sectional game against Culver Military Academy. During his time at Clay, Hunter has been involved with Clay’s student council, yearbook staff, Athletic Advisory Committee and assisting in coordinating the Clay Food Drive for the Northern Indiana Food Bank. Hunter is thrilled to be attending Manchester and playing for the Spartans while working toward his exercise science degree. He would like to thank all of his family, coaches and friends for helping him and supporting him to fulfill his dream of playing college baseball. Congratulations Hunter and good luck.
