Boys Swimming is runner up at City Meet

The Boys  Swim team swam some of their best races of the year as the finished  2nd Saturday at the Boys City Swim meet.  The Colonials scored a team total 363.   Todays final results  are attached.  The team back in the water Wednesday at home to face St. Joe.  Check out the Swimming photo gallery

Comeback falls short for Boys Basketball

The 45th Annual Indiana High School Athletic Association Girls Basketball State Tournament Pairings Show will be broadcast on Sunday, January 26, 2020, beginning at 5 p.m. eastern time. Girls Basketball beats Mishawaka

Four Players scored in Double Figures Thursday night for the Lady Colonials as Clay defeated Mishawaka 58-46.  Tonia Horston Smith had 15,  Alayja Dillard had 14, Regan Ward 13 and Nataya Hicks added 12 for Clay.  The Colonial finish off the regular season with their Senior night game against Riley next Thursday.

Wrestling wins two on Senior Night

The Wrestling team swept both of the meets against Marian and St. Joe Thursday night. The Colonials beat Marian 60-6 and St. Joe 51-16. Highlights of the night included  seniors, James Bagarus (132 lbs.), Miguel Penaloza (138 lbs.), Scott Gervais (160 lbs.), and Jason Williams (195 lbs.) that went a combined 8-0 and a thrilling

Clay Basketball player wins Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Scholarship

Varsity Basketball player  Jackson Jones has been named a scholarship winner by the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Jackson is a three-year varsity player  and a three-sport athlete.  Earning varsity letters in basketball, football and baseball, he was a 2019 football team captain as a three-year letter winner in that sport and was voted “Most Improved”

Boys Swim Meet with St.Joe Rescheduled

The swim meet with St.Joe this Thursday 1/23/20 has been rescheduled to next Wednesday 1/29/20 at 6:00. There were scheduling conflicts that prompted this change.

Wrestling also finishes 8th at NIC.

The Wrestling team finished 8th at the NIC meet Saturday at Mishawaka.  The Colonials had a team score of 57.   Individually for Clay, Maxx Szucs finished 4th at 120 pounds losing a 2 to 1 decision in overtime to Mikey Kallamani of Jimtown. The Girls Swim team scored 79 points to finish 8th at the NIC Swim meet Saturday at Riley.  The Colonials will open sectional competition on February 6th with the sectional prelims.  The full conference  meet results are attached. girls swim nic results
